The 2006 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA 2006) will take place in Luoyang, Henan, China from June 25 to June 28, 2006. Located in the center of China, on the south bank of the Yellow River, Luoyang enjoys a glorious history as the ancient capital city of more than ten dynasties. Among many attractions, Luoyang is home to the Longmen Grottoes inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO, a gateway to the world famous Shao Lin Temple, and the City of Peonies.

Organized Sessions: Proposals with the title, the organizers, and a brief statement of purpose of the session must be submitted to an OS Chair by March 1, 2006. An invited session consists of at least four papers that must be electronically submitted for review using the same procedure for contributed papers.

Contributed Papers: All papers must be submitted in PDF format prepared strictly following the IEEE PDF Requirements for Creating PDF Documents for IEEE XploreR. The standard number of pages is 6 and the maximum page limit is 8 pages with extra payment for the two extra pages. Accepted papers will be published in the conference CD Proceedings.  All papers presented in the conference will be included in IEEE XploreR and indexed by EI.
